Here's to that, Tyres. Personally, I adored The Ties that Bind as a good springboard for discussion of culture's impact on family. I also actually did like some of the OAC eps. Most of them were meh as ever, but I did enjoy Pinocchio and one or two others. We also got one of the most entertainingly,...

Hi, Tyres. What do you think of the racing in Cars, is it well done? Favorite type of tea?

Good to have you, Everett. You have quite the family. Is it difficult coming from such a line of geniuses?

Countess, you really made somebody throw away brownies? Why? You, you! *pulls head off of snowman, smashes over Countess' head* Now then. I think this snowman needs crooked, evil smile and some very big leaves for ears and beady seeds for eyes...

Tale of Two Cities was, "fine". But the Shendoah Sisters!? Phooey on Cities, that sounds like a masterpiece! As for me, has anyone heard of the New York Times bestsellers, The Land of Stories? They're about all the fairy tale characters living together in one connected universe and it's de...

My opinion on Em: more Em! Come on, where'd she go? They've been pretty packed with story-lines about Wooton, Penny and Buck but that's not really an excuse anymore. She was in the album before last, but she hasn't appeared even once in the club, which is several seasons in now.

I used to be a stubborn not-listen-till-have-the-whole-albumer. Because, sonny, that's how we did it in them days. But I'm softening up. There are just so many ways to hear it now. On Whit's End, through download, on the OAC. My policy is still save a little for the CDs to make the moment of actual ...

One can certainly see your point of view. ;) Still, how do you define immodest? The name implies it partially means showing off. Well, wearing a speedo isn't showing off. It's just the way swimsuits go. We've all heard the swim-suit spiel before. Once upon a Jane Austen time, women wore dress-like s...

Re: Re:

Okay when I said I get it some girls need to cover up more, I meant more like the girls walking around in their bikini's and shorts so short I can see butt... Guys wearing speedos... Need I say more. I've never gotten this. What do you mean by immodest? If by immodest you mean morally questionable ...

Oh, haha, haha, haha. We're not crying and closing in self-pity because there's no one posting. We're seriously considering closing because we've seen a steady decline in the amount of posts and amount of visitors over the past year, with only temporary increases. It seems as if it would be better ...

Why no, it's obviously fake. ;) Yes, speaking in tongues is a wonderful thing. It's never happened to me, personally. I never ask for that Gift of the Holy Spirit as of yet because I simply do not feel called. But if I ever am, I would be thrilled to.

Excellent choices, Bren, Ninja and Wakko. Excellent question, too. I know what my favorite book is, but series... Perhaps mine is Narnia as well. But if not that, either Redwall or Eragon. But now it comes to my mind that probably my favorite series are what I call the "Billy and Bonnie books.&...

Re:

I just think they should be consistent within their plotlines regarding tone. Plotlines? What do you mean by that? How would the rest switch tone but not the plotline? It seems that if humorous events occur, the plot is temporarily humorous as well. The main character can be shot by a hunter in a p...

Re:

ok, whatever. So you concede that point? My problem is how they seemingly changed tones in the middle of the plot line. It's some big, secret mystery and then all of a sudden it's almost comedic. No almost about it. It switched to farce for a little while. Keep in mind, this is a whole album after ...

I loved the illustrations they used to try to explain it.Like the pen one. They illustrated how marriage is being distorted perfectly. Yes they may not have come out and said "gay marriage" but the way they handled it is a great springboard into discussion which is what I believe they wer...

In other words, they were subtle. You're used to AIO spoon-feeding. What's wrong with deciding to refrain from hitting people over the head with the moral? Spoon-feeding is fine, but not every aio has to go, "And so what we have learned applies to our lives today, God has a lot to say in His bo...

That's precisely what I'm talking about. It's just a generalization, obviously. In fact, I didn't know what Orthodox were for the longest time. I'm glad I know now, of course. ;)
